. … – … !?&@ (a.k.a. Masked Title) is a 2d fighting game developed in Unity in which fighters, their faces masked by their punctuated emotions, face off in the streets to unmask their competitors.

The game has controller support, 3 playable characters with unique moves and frame based logic for syncronous deterministic input resolution.

My main contribution to the project was developing the state machine that manages the character’s states.
The main challenge, given that this is a fighting game, was ensuring that every action is executed with the same number of frames, guaranteeing consistent timing and gameplay responsiveness.
I also implemented the input system, handling both controller and keyboard inputs.

The Ficticious Language diversifier shaped everything about user interaction.

This game was created for Portfolio Builders Jam – Week #42. 

It was created using Unity by me, the focus was on the code.

The focus is on the behavioural tree model: there are workers who move around a navigation network and perform various tasks such as eating, sleeping, fighting and working.

There are different types of work: gatherer, builder and deliverer.

The Under Slayer SGJ 2025(Waves)

The Under Slayer is a first-person shooter inspired by Doom, featuring a unique blend of 2D and 3D graphics: the player character and enemies are in 2D, while the game world is fully 3D.

The gameplay revolves around a strategic combat system with three different types of enemies and three types of projectiles, each varying in effectiveness depending on the enemy. The player must survive increasingly large waves of enemies by skilfully managing weapons and their properties to overcome challenges.

My role in this project involved managing the game structure, developing the wave system, creating animations, and designing the arena.

A fast-paced and strategic mix that makes every playthrough unique and engaging.

Epistolarum GGJ 2025(Bubble)

Epistolarum is a resource management game set in 1476 played through e-mail. Players must start the game and prepare themselves by sending a blank e-mail to papa.sisto.quarto[at]gmail.com. All players must receive a confirmation email from the Pope before they can click ‘Start’ to begin.

The game is played by sending emails to the Pope’s address. In these emails, players specify the resources to be sent to the other cantons. The aim is to achieve the secret goal communicated by the Pope at the start of the game. Players must also ensure that their exchange orders adhere to the rules set by the PAPAL BOLLOWS, or face excommunication.

In this project, I was responsible for the conception, design, and construction of several key components, namely the structure of the game, the UI and the animations.

Dillo GGJ 2024 (Make Me Laugh)

Dillo (Say it)is a two-player cooperative game in which one player writes words and the other must say them at the right time to overcome obstacles.

This game with a microphone and keyboard control scheme leaves the idiocy in the hands of the writer and the shouter.

My task in this project was mainly voice recognition and I helped with animation and level composition.

In this game, you play as Ciccio. Having seen many horror films, Ciccio is always ready to complain about the protagonists’ stupid mistakes. It is up to you to make him experience as many of these mistakes as possible first-hand. 

In this project, I was responsible for the player his movement and his interaction with the environment and the base structure of the game

Maple Quest GGJ 2023

Maple Quest is a game divided into three microgames, the idea was to run through the evolution of video games up to the roots, so we have the first part a platformer in 3 dimensions, followed by a platformer in 2 dimensions and ending with an 8 bit scroller.

I was responsible for the code of the 3D parts, animations and structures between one game and the next.
